Designed for smooth cruising (think golf cart on water!), and don’t worry if you’ve never captained a boat before—we’ll give you a quick orientation to get you cruising in no time. We are closed for the winter. We will reopen in May, Friday – Sunday, and holidays from 12 pm until an hour before sunset: weather permitting.

Self-Captained
Captain your own adventure! Being at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license puts you in control, making cruising National Harbor accessible to almost everyone.
Boat Amenities
All our boats feature a central table with a convertible ice bucket, safety equipment, sunshade, and a Bluetooth speaker. You can choose either an electric (quiet, max 2 MPH) or gas-powered motor (max 5 MPH).

For a truly effortless experience, let our trusted first mates at The Wine Guides prepare the perfect picnic to-go for your crew! Their curated packages include delightful charcuterie selections. FAQs
We understand that even the best-laid plans can encounter squalls. Here’s how we handle changes to your itinerary:
Cancellation Notice: Should you need to cancel, please notify us at least 72 hours before your reserved day. We’d be delighted to help you reschedule your nautical adventure at no additional charge. If a cancellation is necessary, a $50 processing fee will apply.
Late Cancellation & Absence: Once your vessel is secured for your booking, it’s marked off the charts for other adventurers. Therefore, cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice, or if your party arrives more than 10 minutes after your scheduled departure, will unfortunately result in no refunds.
Acts of Nature & Vessel Readiness: In the event of severe weather or if your vessel experiences an unforeseen issue, we will have to cancel your voyage. The safety and enjoyment of our guests is our top priority. In such cases, we will gladly assist you in rescheduling your trip without any added cost. If rescheduling isn’t feasible, a $25 processing fee will apply for a full cancellation. Our compass is always set on providing you with a fantastic day on the water!
Yes, we offer voyage protection. You can purchase voyage protection for $25 during the booking process. Purchasing voyage protection will give you the flexibility to reschedule or cancel your reservation up to 4 hours before your scheduled sail-out without any additional processing fees.
No, any adult 25 and older with a valid driver’s licence can captain one of our vessels.
No, for your safety and the safety of our boats we have a set cruising area.

Important Notes for Your Voyage:
All voyages conclude at the appointed time, and the vessel must return to port promptly to prepare for our next guests. Vessels arriving late will incur a charge of $100 for every 15-minute increment until the vessel is secured at the dock.
Please note that all bookings are subject to an 11% Maryland Admissions and Amusement Tax for the vessel, a 6% Booking Convenience Fee, and a 4% Credit Card Processing Fee. All other purchases, such as accessories, are subject to the 6% Maryland Sales Tax.
